Summary	0003547: Kali Linux 2016.2 new installed. (Clean Install) Screen brightness selector not working!
Description	Hello team. I installed 2016.2 and i wanted to set screen brightness. But selector not working. I can down-up button but not giving any reaction.
Additional Information	Clean installed. on Laptop (VPCEH1J8E/B-SONY)

domc 2016-09-08 16:31 reporter ~0005800	I have the same prob. I am using kali rolling 2016.2 amd64 on a Lenovo T420 laptop. Fn keys seem to be working for me.

domc 2016-09-10 20:36 reporter ~0005814	I just did a clean install (kali 2016.2) on my 2010 macbook pro. Initially sound and brightness worked but after dist-upgrade the sound and brightness stopped working both on the software keyboard shortcuts.
