Summary | 0003593: right click menus and context menus disappear to left upper corner and not readable after update
Description | I am using Kali Linux 2016.2 on Parallels Desktop (virtual machine) on Macbook Pro (Late 2011). After a fresh install, everything works fine. The moment I do an upgrade the context menu and the right click menu of almost everything are shifted to left upper corner of the screen. The right click menu is not readable and is just a white line in that region.
Steps To Reproduce | update the Kali Linux 2016.2 i.e. sudo apt-get update followed by sudo apt-get upgrade.
Additional Information | Happens every time I upgrade my installation of Kali Linux 2016.2. Tried it at least five times
Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling 2016.x), these legacy versions are no longer supported. Please could you see if you are able to replicate this issue with the latest version of Kali Linux - https://www.kali.org/downloads/)? If you are still facing the same problem, feel free to re-open the ticket. If you choose to do this, could you provide more information to the issue you are facing, and also give information about your setup? |
