Summary0003629: Stuck on boot because of Bluetooth
Description

I've been trying to track down this issue I've been having when I'm trying to turn on my machine but so far no luck. The error message I get is "Bluetooth: hci0 command 0x1001 tx time out" "Bluetooth: BCM: Reading local version info failed (-110)" and a blinking cursor at the bottom of the last line. I'm not too sure what to do here I tried going into recovery mode and unloading my Bluetooth by sudo modprobe -rfv btusb and then reloading it, with sudo modprobe -v btusb and that didn't seem to fix it so I'm not sure what to do next.

Additional Information

Kali was running fine before, this just started happening after I did the basic apt-get update and dist-upgrade and install my wireless driver.

Also when I go into recovery mode I get a different error message, "hci0 Direct firmware load for brcm/BCM.hcd not found." as well as "Patch brcm/BCM.hcd not found."

Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling 2016.x), these legacy versions are no longer supported.
