Description

Hello, I am using Dell inspiron 3543 and installed kali in dual boot..The Problem occurs after os installation.The wireless driver is not pre-insatalled ,so i tried to install it from synaptic package manager(Searching= Broadcom) and yes it worked but after so many of trying..
But, for Audio driver, i tried every option i got from your forum/google search and none of them fix it.

Actually this(Wireless) problem also occurs in kali linux rolling 2016.1 but i got it fixed from same synaptic package manager(searching=broadcom), but after the release of kali rolling 2016.2 i am not get install of wireless driver from synaptic and from any other option.
I get pre-installed audio driver in kali linux 2016.1 .

My Wireless Chipset : Broadcom 802.11b/g/n
Graphics card installed: Geforce 820 M

Broadcom 802.11b/g/n is not a chipset model , it is just the brand of your wifi chipset and its wireless capacity of broadcasting .

You should post here the result from "lspci -v |grep "Wireless" so people may know witch wifi card broadcom model your laptop have .
Secondly this is a topic to be placed in Kali forums and not here because if in previous versions the wifi worked then this could not be a kali rooling issue .

3rd , you should compile backports wifi drivers on your new kernel to see if it fixes the driver issue :

Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling 2016.x), these legacy versions are no longer supported.
