Description

Hey guys, i installed kali 2016.2 on a 32 gb live USB and I am not able to use my keyboard or touchpad after boot. Tried safe mode as well and it won't fully boot, it stops at a completely black screen in safe mode. I've downloaded the ISO image multiple times and i am installing it using universal USB installer and I also tried rufus in windows 8.1 on my ASUS X550LA. My assumption is that it has something to do with a failure when booting up which says "Failed to start load kernel modules" and i am not exactly sure how to resolve that issue after trying to re-download and also re-install it. i have the kali 2.0 version as well and i have no issues running that on a live USB.

Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling 2016.x), these legacy versions are no longer supported.
