This is not reproducible. Something is wrong with your network setup, this is not a Kali bug.

I think the problem is in the network manager. I had the same problem with Ubuntu Linux as well. I can ping my gateway. I get errors when I ping Google, Microsoft and yahoo.com.

Then feel free to open a bug report with Debian or Ubuntu. There's nothing actionable we can do with this on our side.
