Description | I was using a Kali 2016.2 to exemplify a device foresic analysis. During the analysis, I made a search words over the content of a disk image and it didn't work. The log shows that the program couldn't find the functionalities. Therefore, the program strart while the main functionalities do not properly work. | ||||
Steps To Reproduce | 1.- Open a Virtualbox machine with a second virtual HDD. | ||||
Additional Information | When the same steps are tested with Kali 2016.1, it works well. Although, when Kali 2016.2 is used the examples didn't work at all. | ||||
Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling 2016.x), these legacy versions are no longer supported. Please could you see if you are able to replicate this issue with the latest version of Kali Linux - https://www.kali.org/downloads/)? If you are still facing the same problem, feel free to re-open the ticket. If you choose to do this, could you provide more information to the issue you are facing,and also give information about your setup? |
