Can you provide more information?
1. What kali version did you download?
2. Does the hashsum matches that on the website?
You may wish to consider
1. Re-download the image from https://docs.kali.org/downloading/kali-linux-live-usb-install
2. Perform a hashsum check against the downloaded image
(I used to encounter issues with USB boot, but redownload and recreate the USB works miracle)
3. Create the USB medium on 2 USB drives indicated on https://docs.kali.org/downloading/kali-linux-live-usb-install
Why 2? Because sometimes for some reason, not all USB works equally well.
Let us know how it goes
Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling 2016.x/2017.1), these legacy versions are no longer supported.
We will be closing this ticket due to inactivity.
Please could you see if you are able to replicate this issue with the latest version of Kali Linux - https://www.kali.org/downloads/)?
If you are still facing the same problem, feel free to re-open the ticket. If you choose to do this, could you provide more information to the issue you are facing, and also give information about your setup?
