Description

After trying to install, for example htop... it giving me this:
"Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package htop"

Also i find that source.list contains only this:

Btw installing something from the live Kali usb.. works just fine.

You are missing the sources in your "/etc/apt/sources.list"
You will have to add them manually..

Adding "deb http://http.kali.org/kali kali-rolling main contrib non-free" into /etc/apt/sources.list will fix it.

kimocoder is right, you probably did not enable network during install or you did not enable the APT mirror. Not our fault in any case. And you should ask on support forums first because this is clearly not a good bug report.
