Description

The retroarch app in the kali-rolling repo is still the version 1.3.6

But the latest version of RetroArch app is 1.6.3 with major features and stabilities.

Can you import the latest version to one of the kali repos?

Steps To Reproduce

The current methods to upgrade RetroArch on linux are:

  • FlatPak:

    1. Add the FlatHub Repo:
      flatpak remote-add --user --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo
    2. Download and Install RetroArch from the Repo
      flatpak install --user flathub org.libretro.RetroArch

  • Launchpad:
    add-apt-repository ppa:libretro/stable && apt-get update && apt-get install retroarch
