Description | Dear kali. Ive got an msi laptop with an 960m when i boot i got an nouveau error. It boots up when i use nomodeset. So ive tried to install the nvidia driver form the instructions from your site. Then i gor the message oops somthing went worng during bootup. So i reinstalled and tried the driver from nvidia site it self same issue. Reinstalled tried other sites same isue. With nomodeset i only can use my cpu intergraded graphic card i want to use my 960m ;( ive also tried to disable nouveau with the nvidia driver installed to force it to use the nvidia driver same issue. And i cant upload pictures because of the low upload amount you guys give me. | ||||
Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling 2016.x/2017.1), these legacy versions are no longer supported. Please could you see if you are able to replicate this issue with the latest version of Kali Linux - https://www.kali.org/downloads/)? If you are still facing the same problem, feel free to re-open the ticket. If you choose to do this, could you provide more information to the issue you are facing,and also give information about your setup? |
