Summary0004528: Wifi issue - GNOME not detecting WiFi Networks, but Airmon-ng able too
DescriptionHey, am using kali linux 2017.3, in real hard(External) but an issue shown up to my wifi !
Can't search for networks at all. But only can do with airmon-ng , airodump-ng commands, after searching in internet i found i need to install some packegs, so i installed (bcm43142) and Compat-drives but nothing changed.

i had similar issue and fixed it after using wicd network manager instead of default one

your issue looks like you have to disable monitor mode using airmon-ng stop <interface>
