Summary | 0004647: Icons change when rebooted
Description | The Icons change from the regular Vibrancy Kali to an older look when I boot up or restart my Laptop. The terminal has a vintage look, the settings have two tools instead of the two little sliders, and the battery Icon has bars inside a battery instead of being completely filled in. Basically, the icons change to the "Gnome" look or something similar other than Vibrancy Kali.
Additional Information | Only happens when the Laptop is booted up from being shutdown. When I have the issue and the icons go to the gnome look, I open skype and the icons go back to normal, but then once I close skype they go back to the Gnome look. If I go to the settings it says its on Vibrancy Kali, but its not. If I choose something else, and then Vibrancy Kali again it fixes it. Of course, when I shutdown and then bootup my Laptop again it goes back to the Gnome look again.
Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling 2016.x/2017.x/2018.1), these legacy versions are no longer supported. Please could you see if you are able to replicate this issue with the latest version of Kali Linux - https://www.kali.org/downloads/)? If you are still facing the same problem, feel free to re-open the ticket. If you choose to do this, could you provide more information to the issue you are facing, and also give information about your setup? |
