Summary0004667: Just installed Kali 2018.1 but after restart it wont boot.
Description

Hi All,

  • Just installed Kali 2018.1 but after restart it wont boot.
    Problem after installing on new USB 125GB whit persistence.
    After reinstalling with kali-2017.3 in the kali-2018.1 have a problem .
    New Installation "Kali" whit the command [ ddd if=kali-2018.1-amd64.iso of=/dev/sdX bs=512k ]. [ 'boot' flag = Yes ]
    After installation the Kali 2018.1 no booting
    Please any help would be appreciated.

Kali Linux Live USB Install Procedure:
Download the Kali ISO 2018.1
USB Drive = 128GB
OS : Kali Linux 2017.3

1] $ sudo dd if=kali-linux-2018.1-amd64.iso of=/dev/sdX bs=512k
2] $ mkdir -p /mnt/usb
3] $ mount /dev/sdX3 /mnt/usb
4] $ echo "/ union" > /mnt/usb/persistence.conf
5] $ umount /mnt/usb
