Summary0004727: NVIDIA CUDA GPU drivers won't install - can't use HashCat in Kali Linux...drive E error and Open CL
Description

Latest package does not provide all files needed to run HashCat in Kali Linux.

Ran updates and then driver install off the following site but the device was not recognized in Kali and I would think that all software is tested being being released. I could not use HashCat on Kali for either Virtual Box or VMWare and other forum advice corrupted my virtual machines and gave the dreaded black screen of death forcing me to delete and start over. There are many Youtube videos on fixing the E drive error which also shows up when attempting to run HashCat in Kali.

Thank you for your interest in Kali but this bug report is not actionable.
Please read https://kali.training/chapter-6/filing-a-good-bug-report/ first. We
are a small team and we expect you to provide a much more detailed bug report.

Once you have done the necessary research (possibly with the help of the
community on http://forums.kali.org or on IRC #kali-linux on irc.freenode.net),
feel free to re-open this bug with more information or to open a new report.

The issue starts with you doing this in a Virtual Machine without passing through the GPU.
AMD is much 'nicer' at doing this than NVIDIA.
