Summary | 0004727: NVIDIA CUDA GPU drivers won't install - can't use HashCat in Kali Linux...drive E error and Open CL
Description | Latest package does not provide all files needed to run HashCat in Kali Linux. Ran updates and then driver install off the following site but the device was not recognized in Kali and I would think that all software is tested being being released. I could not use HashCat on Kali for either Virtual Box or VMWare and other forum advice corrupted my virtual machines and gave the dreaded black screen of death forcing me to delete and start over. There are many Youtube videos on fixing the E drive error which also shows up when attempting to run HashCat in Kali. https://docs.kali.org/general-use/install-nvidia-drivers-on-kali-linux
