| Description | Today on 6th october, 2018 I did a live boot of kali linux as I switched to main installed kali-linux v-18.3 machine I get to know that my root password has changed automatically. | ||||

Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling <= 2018.3), these legacy versions are no longer supported. Please could you see if you are able to replicate this issue with the latest version of Kali Linux - https://www.kali.org/downloads/)?
