Summary0005069: kali-linux-light-2018.4-i386 bootable USB hangs
Description

USB stick loaded with light-2018.4-i386 brings up option screen, loads /live/vmlinuz and /live/initrd.img, then moves on to load initramfs, but hangs after that.

An error message scrolls repeatedly down the screen after it attempts to load initramfs:

ehci-pci 0000:00:1d.7: dma_direct_map_sg: overflow 0x000000012621b000+4096 of device mask ffffffff

This behavior occurs on Intel machines running on Core 2 Duo, i5, and i7 processors, both 32 and 64 bit.

light-2018.3a-i386 boots fine, as does light-2018.4-amd64.

If there is anything else that I can do to help, please let me know.

Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling <= 2018.4), these legacy versions are no longer supported.
