This will occur on ANY linux system. It treats switching users to the same user as a fresh login. If you feel like switch user should treat the same user attempting to log in as a non-switch/fresh login, you should file a bug in whatever login manager/desktop environment you use bug tracker |

As mentioned by threeway, this is not a bug and is standard behavior in any Linux system. |
