Summary | 0000522: OSWASP ZAP and java.security.cert.CertificateException: Certificates does not conform
Description | When using ZAP as a proxy and with HTTPs protocol, the web browser is displaying a java.security.cert.CertificateException: Certificates does not conform to algorithm constraints.
Additional Information | I am not yet sure why but there is a workaround as explained here: http://www.richardnichols.net/2012/0...m-constraints/ Basically edit your /usr/lib/jvm/java-7-openjdk-<arch>/jre/lib/security/java.security and comment out the line jdk.certpath.disabledAlgorithms=MD2
Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling 2016.x), these legacy versions are no longer supported. Please could you see if you are able to replicate this issue with the latest version of Kali Linux - https://www.kali.org/downloads/)? If you are still facing the same problem, feel free to re-open the ticket. If you choose to do this, could you provide more information to the issue you are facing, and also give information about your setup? |
