Summary0005350: Update redis-openvas.conf for possible "stuck" scans
Description

/etc/redis/redis-openvas.conf currently contains the following:

save 900 1
save 300 10
save 60 10000

These might cause "stuck" scans and should be commented out:

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/OpenVAS#Redis

Furthermore the "databases" configuration:

databases 16

could be raised for larger scans or parallel running tasks.

Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling <= 2018.4), these legacy versions are no longer supported.
We will be closing this ticket due to inactivity.

Please could you see if you are able to replicate this issue with the latest version of Kali Linux - https://www.kali.org/downloads/)?

The upstream documentation doesn't mention the need to disable those "save" calls. And the default number of databases is big enough for a single server case. Anyone building a larger setup should expect to have to tweak parameters.
