|Target Version||Fixed in Version|
|Summary||0005350: Update redis-openvas.conf for possible "stuck" scans|
|Description||/etc/redis/redis-openvas.conf currently contains the following:|
save 900 1
save 300 10
save 60 10000
These might cause "stuck" scans and should be commented out:
Furthermore the "databases" configuration:
could be raised for larger scans or parallel running tasks.
Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling <= 2018.4), these legacy versions are no longer supported.

Please could you see if you are able to replicate this issue with the latest version of Kali Linux - https://www.kali.org/downloads/)?
If you are still facing the same problem, feel free to re-open the ticket. If you choose to do this, could you provide more information to the issue you are facing, and also give information about your setup?
For more information, please read: https://kali.training/topic/filing-a-good-bug-report/
||The upstream documentation doesn't mention the need to disable those "save" calls. And the default number of databases is big enough for a single server case. Anyone building a larger setup should expect to have to tweak parameters.|
