Summary | 0005549: Even after shutting down kali linux , the system power doesn't get turned off and I have to forcefully push power button to off! | ||||
Description | I have recently downloaded the kali linux and found an issue while shutdown and restarting the system. It seems like the system is under a crash while doing so , I have tried to shutdown the system through the terminal but no use.And I have tried almost all the means but in vain.I only get a blank screen and the power indicator of my Laptop lit and the fans still spinning. | ||||
Additional Information | My laptop is Asus X542BA .4Gb ram.AMD processor A6 with integrated GPU (codename Stoney Ridgey) And I have made a dual boot from Windows 10 with a partiotion of 5GB. ..... | ||||
Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling <= 2019.2), these legacy versions are no longer supported. Please could you see if you are able to replicate this issue with the latest version of Kali Linux - https://www.kali.org/downloads/? If you are still facing the same problem, feel free to re-open the ticket. If you choose to do this, could you provide more information to the issue you are facing, and also give information about your setup? |
