Summary0005903: Desktop and browser content covered with white overlay
Description

This issue is on a fresh install of Kali 2019.4 on a 2016 Mac Book Pro. I have tried KDE and Gnome.

Issues -

The background of the desktop is all white except for the bottom inch of the screen where I can see the bottom of the background image. The white over the desktop covers the majority of the desktop image but not the icons.

When I open a browser and scroll, it appears that a white box covers the majority of the browser. The white box in the browser seems to move and appears similar to a parallax scroll website but with a white box on the foreground blocking the content.

Steps To Reproduce
  1. Use either ISO -
    https://cdimage.kali.org/kali-2019.4/kali-linux-2019.4-amd64.iso
    https://cdimage.kali.org/kali-2019.4/kali-linux-2019.4-gnome-amd64.iso
  2. Follow graphical install steps for a full disk Kali install on a late 2016 Mac Book Pro.
  3. Full disk install using encrypted LVM .
  4. When OS boots for the first time the issue should exist.
