Summary0005973: Cannot Login Thru Remote Desktop Using XRDP
Description

Cannot connect to Kali from a Windows machine using Remote Desktop and XRDP.

Steps To Reproduce

Install xrdp on kali
On Windows 10, open Remote Desktop Connection and use IP of Kali box.
Remote desktop connection initially succeeds, showing "Login to kali"
Select Session (Xord), enter user/pass.

After clicking OK, remote desktop window freezes but no errors are shown. No connection is established.

Additional Information

Attempted to login with root and a new user.

Check the file /etc/X11/Xwrapper.config

set allowed_users to anybody

Configured using dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg-legacy.

Login is successful but nothing displays after login. Just the same blank teal green background.

Is there a step I missed? So far all I've done from a fresh image is:

apt-get update && apt-get upgrade
apt-get install xrdp
systemctl enable xrdp
reboot

Now added X11 command but not working still.
