| Summary | 0006016: implement different colour prompt in shell for root and normal users | ||||
| Description | Kali's bash prompt is red for all users in the system. This is a bit confusing when using the distro as a normal user. Other distros have a script to color bash prompt differently when using a normal user terminal than when using root account. This improves security and avoids "errors" which can be lethal to the system. This can be easily achieved packaging this script: https://github.com/solbu/colorprompt and eventually adding it to kali's default profiles. | ||||
