Summary | 0006183: WiFi Card drivers not installed automatically, non-free firmware
Description | When installing kali 2020.1a there is something weird that happens and that thing is that the wifi drivers are not being installed automatically. It is overwhelming to install them manually. BTW, in 2019.4 they were installed automatically on the same laptop with the same specs.
Steps To Reproduce | Use the installer to install kali Linux 2020.1a on a laptop dual booted with windows, never tried without windows.
What package did you have to install manually ? Are you speaking of firmware packages or some driver packages (like realtek-rtl8188eus-dkms or realtek-rtl88xxau-dkms)? |
