After installing, setting up, checking setup, password creation, and starting OpenVAS, everything went fine except for the browser not opening on its own "Failed to execute default browser Web Browser". I'm assuming its a permission issue setting of some sort (although I tried allowing everything and didn't seem to work).

However...as a quick fix and to get OpenVAS to work, click on the Kali browser (without exiting from the command shell, to keep running OpenVAS of course) then type in https://127.0.0.1:9392 and hit enter, then allow the security prompt that the browser throws out, and you're in.

This report has been filed against an old version of Kali. We will be closing this ticket due to inactivity.
Please could you see if you are able to replicate this issue with the latest version of Kali Linux (https://www.kali.org/downloads/)?
