Summary0000628: System Freezes on connecting external power cord
Description

Hi system works fine on normal usage. But when power cord is connected system freezes. Nothing works.
When booted system with power cord connected, no problem. But after discoonect power and connect again, system freezes.

Do you get the same result when you boot from the live cd/usb image?

Yes i am getting same error with live cd also. what you mean different boot image eg Parted Magic?

I booted with amd 64bit version..

Its happening when laptop wakes from sleep also. i.e, when laptop lid closes for sometime and resumes. Wifi is off, and capslock led blinks.. nothing works. may be problem with wifi not sure, i am new to kali linux. I m ubuntu user.

Any problems lately with the power supply? Do you have a USV (APC like) or something that is filtering your power supply?

I am from India. No problem with power cord, i dual booted with win8.. no problem there

Hey S-900 i checked the link, my pc dont have any hardware problem. I booted live ubuntu no problem with it. Previously i used ubuntu(20days back), only kali linux giving problem. Any how battery back up is awesome(4+ hrs on normal usage).

I cant switch to other distro now. I configured too many tools(like hadoop,nutch,solr......) i have to complete my work otherwise i will not paid for my projects.

Please anyone find solution guys...

Did you try to compile a kernel yourself? If not please do it this way:
http://www.debian.org/releases/stable/i386/ch08s06.html.en

And please compile it in 64bit

Can you see if you still have the problem with Kali 1.0.6 which uses version 3.12 of the Linux kernel ?
