Summary0006518: Kaspersky block access of http://kali.download when installing in VirtualBox
Description

I have Kaspersky Endpont Security and was doing a fresh installation on VirtualBox of Kali 2020.2. The process of installation failed because Kaspersky block certain download url (http://kali.download/).

So I have to stop de Web Anti-Virus Task Scan to make the installation work.

More than a bug I find it weird that the download page in the installation process was the site http://kali.download/ without secure access (HTTPS)

Just for your consideration

Steps To Reproduce
  1. Have Kaspersky install on the machine
  2. Have the Web Anti-Virus component enabled
  3. Proceed to Kali installation (On the Select and installation software step the error will appear)

Unfortunately there is nothing we can do there. You would need to add an exception in Kaspersky.
