Description
  • kali-themes package not installed (missing start-here and notifications icons)
  • fonts-firacode package not installed (qterminal fonts rendered poorly, can't change font)

workaround is manually install both packages.

Note kali-themes package initially shows "rc" state via dpkg -l but installs fine.

Download the image and boot it.
