Summary | 0006728: kali linux 2020.3 nexmon 64 bit on raspberry pi 4 monitor & mange mode issue
Description | when i download tools such as airgeddon , fluxion , wifi phisher , any tool from github for evil twin attack , non of the tools detect my on board wifi chip. it says chip unknown due to which it is not possible to put it to monitor mode or back to managed mode. how ever tools like fern wifi cracker works fine.
Steps To Reproduce | i have deleted & reinstalled , changed the repository source list , many other things but non of them work.
Additional Information | i have raspberry pi 4 4GB , running from original sd card that came with it. downloaded the image kali linux 2020.3 nexmon 64 bit from kali.org
Fern uses aircrack-ng under the hood which has modifications to recognize the chip used on the RPi. Unfortunately, the other tools you mention would need to do the same. I would recommend opening an issue with the upstream projects to get the support added there. |
