|Summary||0006781: Kali Installer 64bit torrent file failing integrity check repeatedly|
|Description||This came to my attention after trying to install to my laptop, the installer ISO was missing integral files and wouldn't complete validation within the install. I did an integrity check on the file on my main computer and it did not match, as such, I tried again. The same thing happened. The file seemed to be bigger than it says on the website, 4gb.|
Finally, downloaded it on my browser, the integrity check worked and I was on my way.
Wondering if anyone else can reproduce this or if it was just a me problem, seems very weird.
|Steps To Reproduce||torrent the 64-bit installer file, then do a sha256sum integrity check. I was using the torrenting application transmission, yet this should be tried on other all the same.|
