Description

I tried to login in your os 'kali linux' and typed 'adminali' instead of 'adminkali' with my usual and correct password .....
It showed "Your password is incorrect.Please Try again" , But it didn't showed me that the username doesn't exist...
It only matches the username and checks if the password is right for the given username , But it
Doesn't check whether the given username exist

Steps To Reproduce

I have provided it in the description....
But I provide it here once more:

  1. Go to switch user/login in Kali Linux
  2. Enter a wrong username and a right password/any password
  3. It will only show that the password is incorrect but not any one thing about the user
