Summary | 0006929: Desktop becoming a grey screen with no icons
Description | After some time of usage, users desktop becomes grey (doesn't show the background theme) and all of the application icons disappear. However, if I create a new user, it has desktop, which also disappears after some time of usage (maybe a moth or so). This only happens on lightdm, switching to gdm3 makes the desktop go back, but I still prefer lightdm. Also, right-clicking the grey desktop doesnt give anything. Attaching: screenshot of the desktop with proof, that it is supposed to have files and proof that the theme is set not to a grey screen.
Also, my KALI is running in a hw install |
