Description

I found a bug in terminal while enter code-'sudo su' to get root access

if we type code-'sudo su\' by mistake it pop up

         #this line after type that above code and if we enter password of our user then hit enter then pop up enter password

[sudo] password for maari: #and then we type our paasword again and hit enter it throws error and after we enter correct code-'sudo su' it does ask password it gives us permission to enter root it mean it save password in log its a major security issue.

This is the expected behavior. Your user is an admin user (sudo group, wheel in other linux) and thus allowed to scale privileges with its own password
