Summary0007269: Laptop battery go low on kernel 5.10.0-kali8-amd64
Description

Laptop battery drastically goes low when i pull out the charger, from 100%/fully charged to 55%, not sure if worn-out battery or updated kernel bug, was working fine till i upgraded.
Kernal: 5.10.0-kali8-amd64 and kali9
Laptop make: dell latitude e7290
Battery: Dell DM3WC64
sorry not sure what i should check, tried different approach, turn off bluetooth, lower screen brightness but not prevail.

could you dump desktop environment you're using what's your laptop specification and show output from commands dmesg | grep error and separately journalctl -xe maybe there will be error that we could work on
besides check what priority of tracker-miner-fs do you have (htop will show you this) and is there something in /var/log

We're sorry but we don't have the manpower to deal with hardware support problems.
Those problems need to be fixed in the upstream Linux kernel. We regularly import new kernel releases.
