Summary0000728: BOOT LOOP on AMD64 FX-8350
Description

Running from a USB 3.0 KEY attached directly to Mainboard or attached to USB 2.0 Hub both on 64bit and 32bit version of Kali I get a boot loop.

Steps To Reproduce

Kali image installed in usb key by means of yumi (it's my recovery/emergency key).
Insert usb key.
Start PC by boot selector, choose the usb key
Choose the KALI LINUX
BOOT LOOP

Additional Information

Keeps looping between these two timeout messages:

udevd[97]: timeout killing '/sbin/modprobe -b usb:very long hashtag heren01 [434]
udevd[98]: timeout killing '/sbin/modprobe -b usb:very long hashtag heren02 [434]

I forgot: I am allowed to choose a booting option before the loop: Live - Forensic - Persistent... so long i tried the live options

Can you see if you still have the problem with Kali 1.0.6 which uses version 3.12 of the Linux kernel ?

Ok I will soon ;) - Also I traced the problem to the external USB3 drive. When the drive is attached I was getting the bootloop, without the drive I could start the OS.

I can now confirm that the issue is solved using the latest release of kali
