Summary | 0007475: [Virtualbox VM] Keyboard map changer ignores single map configuration
Description | Using the lastest Virtualbox ready-rolled Kali image, changing the keyboard map to UK and removing US, the map change is ignored on subsequent logins. In order for the map to be applied correctly it needs to be given top priority in a setting carrying at least two maps, otherwise the desired map is ignored and the US default applied even though it is not present in the configuration.
Steps To Reproduce | Settings > Keyboard Layout tab. Logout. Log back in. Key map will be US (shift2='@', shift3='#' for instance), not UK (where shift2='"', shift3='£').
Additional Information | Kali VM 2021.3 on Ubuntu 18.04.6
