It could be that something broke during an update, maybe in XFCE or Xorg? I don't think it's a bug in Kali though, it's not something that Kali modifies from XFCE, and I don't think that there's any Kali specific configuration to make brightness hotkeys work It's supposed to "just work" ™. Please head to https://forums.kali.org/ for support on that, maybe other users have the same issue. Or otherwise, Google search. Good luck! |
