Description

Recently the brightness does not work when using the keyboard, I have used the command xrandr --output eDP-1 --brightness 0.8 to adjust the brightness.

It could be that something broke during an update, maybe in XFCE or Xorg? I don't think it's a bug in Kali though, it's not something that Kali modifies from XFCE, and I don't think that there's any Kali specific configuration to make brightness hotkeys work It's supposed to "just work" ™.
