Summary | 0007772: Settings, Battery and Screen brightness not working
Description | When I upgraded to Kali Linux 2022.2. Settings, Laptop battery indicator and screen brightness is not working. I am using gnome and by tracking the bug I found out that it is the problem with Upower. However previously I had found a temporary solution by downgrading upower but that solution is not working anymore as it breaks gnome and the libraries need to be updated
Steps To Reproduce | One Step: Update all the packages on Kali Linux to latest version and install gnome
Additional Information | I have installed Nvidia drivers. They might be messing up with upower but upon uninstalling the drivers the issue wasn't resolved.
