|Summary||0007872: Kali Linux tries to detect my network hardware for hours while installation|
|Description||While the installation of Kali Linux on my laptop at the point of "Detecting Network-Hardware" it doesn't go on. I have tried it with and without an ethernet connection, it's still the same. I also have tried diffrent images of Kali Linux, so as the bare metal installer and the live image, nothing has changed. The further steps all work but then nothing happens. My touchpad also doesn't work while detecting network hardware.|
||Unfortunately, you haven't given us any information about your laptop at all. Keep in mind that the Kali team is small, and we do not have access to a vast amount of hardware. If the hardware detection isn't working right, does it work on other distros that aren't Kali? If so, what drivers are in use then? Unfortunately, you will need to do a lot of legwork to find out what hardware your system has, and provide it to us, otherwise we really can't do anything at all to look into the issue.|
