apt-get update && apt-get upgrade

Additional Information
  1. Tried removing the packages and installing them from scratch. Does not word and now I don't have a working metasploit environment anymore ;-)

  2. Contact my ISP to find out if the IP is blacklisted or something, but that's not the case.

  3. Find out whois:

I don't think this traceroute is going to help anything. Because the IP address is not functioning for several months I removed and purged the metasploit packages from the distro and installed the packages from git and by hand.

That's working fine, so the issue can be closed because there is a better working solution.

We can't do anything about this network problem on our side. However there's no need to install metasploit from scratch.

Since http.kali.org redirects you to non-working mirror for you, just stop using http.kali.org and pick a miror of your choice.

Go edit /etc/apt/sources.list and replace http.kali.org with ftp.halifax.rwth-aachen.de for example, or any other mirror that you can find on http://http.kali.org/README.mirrorlist
