Can you provide more information? What chipset does the adapter use? When you say other adapter detected, is it the same chipset? Have you tried other USB ports? There isn't a lot of information to go off here, other than "it worked before and doesn't work now" - the Kali team is small, and we don't all have access to every WiFi device out there, so having this information helps us to attempt to reproduce the issue if we have a device with the same chipset... |

It's great that you provided the kernel version, but the device names aren't helpful. Please provide the chipsets that they use, and dmesg output when you've plugged the devices in. You mentioned installing a repo, but you don't mention the repo at all - this is all information that we need to assist you. Please, when you are filing a bug provide as much detail as possible, it helps us help faster as it doesn't require back and forth just to get the very basic of information needed. It's better to provide too much information than not enough. |
