Steps To Reproduce | Take kali upgrades to the latest packages, then try to register at least one bluetooth audio device. Or Install kali 2023.1, configure it, then try to register at least one bluetooth audio device. Registering the audio device may be difficult, but you'll be able to. Hello, I see that I didn't follow up on https://bugs.kali.org/view.php?id=7699, but honestly, there's not much I can do. What desktop did you install, is it Kali's default (ie. XFCE) ? If so, I suggest to try to re-install and select the GNOME desktop. It uses a different audio stack (they use pipewire by default, while XFCE uses Pulseaudio). Other than that, there's really not much we can do. We just can't troubleshoot all the hardware issues that users are facing. Some hardware have very poor support in Linux, due to vendors not writing drivers for Linux, not testing their hardware in Linux, and not caring about Linux in general. There's nothing we can do about that. |
