Summary0008265: Black screen after screen lock / unlock (randomly)
Description

Greetings,
I run Kali 2023.1 32-bit on IBM ThinkPad X60s with 4 GB RAM and 500 GB HDD and it works fine except:

When I lock the screen and then unlock by entering the UID and PWD, I have randomly a black screen with only the mouse pointer and nothing else.
I can <ctrl>+<alt>+<f1> to open a new session but back to <ctrl>+<alt>+<f7> gives back the same black screen.
Session is running but it is impossible to get back the desktop.
I have to shutdown Kali from <ctrl>+<alt>+<f1> session after login and everything I was doing is lost.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a lot by now for your time and support.
Eric

Steps To Reproduce

Power on IBM ThinkPad X60s, start Kali 2023.1 32-bit , log in, lock screen, enter UID + PWD to unlock screen. Randomly, you will get a black screen with just the mouse pointer on the screen.
