Your virtual machine is set up for 64bit, but you're trying to install 32bit?

You should probably just import the pre-built virtual machine, or if you do want to install yourself, if you're going to set the virtual machine to be 64bit, use the 64bit ISO on the downloads page.

Moreover, if you run Kali in a VM, it has no influence on your host, so all your various partitions (windows, ubuntu, etc) are not relevant.

You should probably just import the pre-built virtual machine

Correct, please refer to https://www.kali.org/docs/virtualization/import-premade-virtualbox/ for guidance.
