Summary0008467: Kali Linux 2023.3 won't start. It hangs on startup.
Description

Hi guys. I want to make kali Linux 2023. 3 live SSD - gives an error.

8.274471] ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Could not resolve symbol [_SB.PCI8.PB2], RE_NOT_FOUND (28221028/dswload2-162) J
8.274477] ACPI Error: AE_NOT_FOUND, During name lookup/catalog (28221828/ps object-220)

(lenovo legion 7 16achg6 (r9000k).,r9 5900hx.,rtx 3080 16gb)
I've been tormented for 2 weeks now.

Steps To Reproduce

Changed file systems
Software for burning Live SSD image - tried a lot of different ones.
Tried 3 different devices - same error everywhere

This is my second post on this site, so don't judge me harshly. I don't understand why kali Linux doesn't want to work on such powerful hardware.

Additional Information

Attached a screenshot of the error. The system hangs intentionally and nothing can be done about it. Must be a bug.

Understandable. Besides the fact that this worthless system doesn't work, it has no tech support. Well, I'll have to uninstall all the images of this dismal non-functioning crap and put up a perfectly working Windows. Tell Linus Torvald he's a pathetic asshole who shits garbage - that's why everyone is on mac and windows - those systems actually work. Linux sucks, has sucked, has been sucked, and will continue to suck.

The maximum that tech support can do for a worthless operating system is to ban a user. To fix errors, solve problems with drivers, to make everything work it is not able to, because they work worthless schoolchildren without education and brains.

I suppose your hardware is not supported by Linux, or something like that. It happens. Vendor often sell their laptop with Windows pre-installed, and only plan to support Windows. They have no plan to make their hardware work for Linux, and therefore Linux might not work for their hardware. That's a fact of life.

In any case, not a bug in Kali, and not something we can do anything about. Closing this ticket.
