Postman is usually distributed via their website. They offer a ready-to-use binary, and the app is also available via Snap.

I saw that there's a different issue that mentions Postman, but it was rejected because it was proposed as part of a list of packages.

The original build script had a dependency on gconf2. That package seems to be gone now[1], so I removed it. I also added a validation to download either the arm or the amd version of Postman before creating the .deb file.

The script definitely needs more testing, though. Here's[2] the gist link.
