Summary0008698: open-vm-tools-desktop Package Missing
Description

During the live-build of a new ISO, I noticed that the open-vm-tools-desktop package has gone missing from Kali repositories, thus crippling all live-build-config-related activities and potentially other activities.

This is because apparently Debian has removed open-vm-tools package from Debian Testing, resulting in a core dependency for many Kali Linux DE's to be unfulfilled: https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/open-vm-tools

Opening this bug ticket to track this issue, as well as to raise awareness of this issue to the team.
