I am a blind user of Kali, therefore reliant on audio working as it should.
When installing Kali 2024.2 in a VM using the " Speech synthesis" function, the installation has perfectly usable audio.
However, as soon as you load into the booted system (I've tried with Gnome and KDE both), audio starts stuttering severely, making screen readers impossible to use.
This is a regression from 2024.1; that seems to be the last good release. Until this gets fixed, nobody using a screen reader can use the latest Kali.
